Our mission
Building a digitally inclusive India
Tech Mitra is a youth-led initiative dedicated to bridging the digital gap and making technology accessible, safe, and simple for everyone.
Founded in 2025 by Svaraa Shah and Jia Fulbaduwa, we focus on spreading digital literacy, cyber safety awareness, and practical tech skills through workshops, resources, and community engagement.
What we're working on
Our Ongoing Projects
Four initiatives spanning every generation — from senior citizens to young children.
Digital Literacy for Senior Citizens
We sit down with seniors in residential buildings and old age homes and walk them through WhatsApp, UPI, online shopping, and the apps they actually use — at their pace, in English, Hindi, or Gujarati. Each session is backed by a guidebook we wrote ourselves.
Cyber Safety for Young Adults
We are building a card game that teaches teens to spot online scams before they get burned — through relatable, funny scenarios instead of lectures. We are also starting cyber safety workshops for children aged 8–15.
Digital Citizenship & Wellbeing
This program helps young people build healthy digital habits — knowing when to log off, how to be kind online, and how to think before they post. A board game is in development.
AI Literacy
Workshops and quizzes that break down what AI actually is, how it shows up in everyday life, and how to use it responsibly — no coding background required. Phase 2 is launching soon.

Jia Fulbaduwa
I'm Jia, a high school student who prefers creating over conforming. I'm drawn to building, experimenting, and reimagining my community. Driven by curiosity and purpose, I aim to do meaningful work that creates tangible change.

Svaraa Shah
I'm Svaraa, a high school learner and aspiring entrepreneur driven by the desire to do purposeful work. I love to have new experiences, explore multiple ideologies and build systems that have a lasting impact on the world around me.
